Clayton is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri as well as the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri.

Growing up in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, Clayton had the benefit of watching his father practice law as an Assistant United States Attorney, Acting United States Attorney and now, United States Magistrate Judge in the Western District of Missouri. Clayton's older brothers, Justin and Luke are both Attorneys in Kansas City, Missouri. Clayton also has an Uncle and Cousin who both practice law in Missouri. Clayton spent his childhood observing the practice of law in the courtroom.

Clayton attended Blue Springs High School where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA while playing four years each of Football, Basketball and Baseball. After graduating from High School, Clayton received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Northwest Missouri State University. During his time at Northwest Missouri State University, Clayton spent his summers interning at the Federal Courthouse in the Western District of Missouri where he learned how the legal system operated.

Following his undergraduate degree, Clayton continued his education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he earned his Juris Doctorate. To add to his law school education, Clayton began clerking for Yonke Law, LLC, where he gained valuable legal writing, research skills and first hand Courtroom experience.

Outside of practicing law, Clayton enjoys spending time volunteering for charitable organizations, including the Third & Long Foundation. Clayton helped create the Annual Jake Cavanaugh Turkey Bowl which has raised thousands of dollars for local families who have suffered from cancer.

Clayton also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching and playing sports, and all outdoor activities. Clayton is also a diehard Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan.

Clayton resides in Lee's Summit, Missouri with his Wife and their two dogs, Ryder and Molly Sue.
